Camp Nanowrimo
Well I feel incredibly accomplished having finished Camp Nanowrimo! My goal this month was 65 hours of revision and I pushed through and won! This doesn't mean that I finished my second draft of YSWHHW but I'm closer to having it done then before I started camp. Another few weeks and I hope to be on my third draft.
One of the things I liked best about Camp Nanowrimo was being able to talk to other writers in my "assigned cabin" and see their progress as well as my own. It was motivating for me and it helped me to keep pushing to write everyday. I did take weekends off, however, and I still went to my book club and played D&D over the month. Though, all that said, I'm happy I stuck to writing everyday on the weekdays and pushing myself closer to my third draft.
Can't wait for November to do it all over again with a new story that I have in mind.
Happy Writing!
