D&D

Y'all I've got D&D today. Finally we are picking up after weeks and weeks of not playing! My Halfling Druid Bree is just trying to right the wrongs of the oppressed and misunderstood creature's, while also battling the evils of Cortuum. The sun is gone and the party is running out of time until the plant life beginnings dying! Hopefully this session we will be able to locate and stop a Malyragoth's Claw member! Because of course who else would kidnap the sun?

One thing I love about this game, besides rolling dice and having cool magic, are my party members. We've been playing for almost a year and a half now, and we're almost to level 10! We're all suck good friend now and every time we play there's laughter, and joking, and comradery, and best of a bond of friendship that ties us all together.

When my husband I and first got out here to Finland (everyone in our party is american and on the same work project as my husband) we didn't know anyone. My husbands the DM (Dungeon Master) found five like minded people (plus me!) that were interested in starting a 5e campaign. Our first session no one really knew each other. We were all strangers gathering together to play a game. Now it's more of a family sticking together in pursuit of justice, fighting to end the evil doings of a radical group that is trying to take over the land.

Man, I love Dungeons and Dragons!
If you haven't played before, I highly recommend it. Its a lot of fun. And don't worry about feeling nerdy. Who cares! Just as long as you're having fun. It's like activity participating in your own fantasy book! And if it's not for you at least you gave it a go. Now roll a D20.
