Writers Abroad

Today I'm off to Barcelona, Spain! I'm incredibly excited to see the La Sagrada Familia designed by Antoni Gaudi. I've heard so much about it from friends who've travel to Barcelona. It's going to be fantastic. But I think what my husband and are also most looking forward to is the food. Oh My God the food looks amazing! We were looking up Tapas restaurants, with our mouths watering at the images on our computer screen; reading about the mid day siesta's, and the incredible night-life of the country.
Even though it's now Spring in Helsinki, and the weather isn't rainy (deciding to stay mid-60 and sunny for the Fin's) I'm looking forward to beaches and the water of Mediterranean Sea (that isn't freezing like the Baltic), humidity, and warm air brushing my skin.
One of my goals for this trip is to get in a ton of reading done while I'm lying around on the beaches, and to be inspired. I've downloaded so many books onto my kindle that I'm still amazed I still have space. Another goal is hopeful find time to work on some of my WIP's. This goal I'm not going to be too worried about.
