Origins

E. J. Gwynne started her professional writing career while living in Helsinki, Finland, though she is originally from North Carolina. She spends her days hard at work with her life companion, best friend, and emotional pedestal: her dog Nynaeve. She is an aspiring author currently working on several projects. A short story collection, East Coast Witches and Other Strange Occurrences, her first sci-fi novella, MOCHO, the first book of her fantasy trilogy, Shrouded, and a horror novel, You See, What Had Happened Was...
She has currently finished the first draft of YSWHHW, MACHO, and Shrouded and is hard at work on the revisions for the second drafts. She has finished two of her short stories and is also currently working on the third. Her ultimate goal is be published within the year. Eventually she and her husband and Nynaeve will return to the states, but until then she calls Finland home.
